Blades
Sharp to the skin
Wet
Prickly
Shades of green
Moss crawls all over the floor
Leaves provide refreshment
Speaking of leaves, they're yellow
The air feels cooler
In just a few months this ground will
be covered in snow
Wait why am I focused on this
It's nice
The sun is out
The leaves are still green
Hola Marcus. I really like how you set the scene using only a few descriptors, as it's short and to the point. As a reader I got caught up in picturing the scene and then your second stanza really surprised me. I like how you mention the snow and then snap back to reality and realize it's still nice out so you shouldn't be taking the weather for granted!
